10 Best Things to do in Seminyak
The little Seminyak Travel Guide
Seminyak - Bali's sophisticated nightlife and shopping area
Seminyak, located in the north of Kuta and Legian, is Bali’s sophisticated shopping and nightlife area. Most nightclubs and plenty of the accommodation available are high-end. It is also Bali’s villa district and the home of many expatriates.
Seminyak can be described as a mix of Nusa Dua and Kuta as it has the flavour of Nusa Dua’s Exclusivity and the nightlife of Kuta.
(Nusa Dua - The exclusive area in the south)
However it looks like Seminyak will not be able to keep its glamour. The roads are not in the best shape, traffic has become very heavy and the Kuta Party People have declared Seminyak as their territory.
Nevertheless, Seminyak is also very popular for its beach club area, stretching along double six, Bali’s Entertainment Beach Area. Cocoon Beach Club, Ku De Ta Beach Club and Potato Head are competing for the title “Best Beach Club in Bali”.
Canggu, located north of Seminyak, is another exclusive area but not as crowded as Seminyak and the perfect place for weddings and honeymooners. Togetherness is guaranteed.

Seminyak is still the perfect place for people who are looking for a sophisticated nightlife scene and want to spend money on cocktails and shopping.

Tip 6 - Escape to Sanur at least once
Seminyak and Kuta are very busy. Is it time to see something different?! Sanur can be reached easily by Taxi and it costs about 10 USD to go there (Ask for meter in the Taxi!) Sanur is sleepy and has absolutely no traffic at all. Ask the driver to take you to the waterside promenade. Stroll around, have your seafood dinner and enjoy some drinks in one of the bars (some of them are also open till 2 or 3am).
