Sanur - Cities and Areas - Things to do and see in Bali

Sanur Travel Guide

Sanur - A little bit of everything

If you put a taste of Kuta, Jimbaran, Tanjung Benoa and Nusa Dua into one pot and then stir vigorously, what you are left with is known as Sanur. Europeans especially feel at home and attracted to Sanur as everything there is within moderation, even the traffic and the prices that are available. Sanur can also be described as a sleepy and neat little village.

In addition to this the ocean in Sanur is different. The scenery reminds you more of a plunge pool which makes Sanur the perfect place for families with kids.

Sanur has a wonderful beach promenade and it's simply relaxing to stroll along and soak up the beautiful views of the Beach. You can hire a bicycle if you would prefer to feel a bit more wind in your face.

Benoa Harbour, located in the south of Sanur is the primary launch point for many day cruises.

It wouldn't be fair to describe Sanur as boring but if you are looking for excitement, you shouldn’t stay here. Sanur is chosen as an alternative, mostly by Honeymooners with a limited budget, Families with kids, travellers aged 45+ and Kuta Lovers who don’t want excessive partying anymore.
