Undiscovered Waterfalls Dusun Kunig Waterfall Bali Indonesia (Air Terjun Dusun Kuning Bali Indonesia)

The tour to Dusun Kuning Waterfall, also named the Yellow Waterfall (Kuning = Yellow, Dusun = sub Village), takes about 1.5 hours. It is located at Kuning Hamlet, about 47  kilometers to the Airport Ngurah Rai

This roaring waterfall, about 25 meters in height, can be accessed through a 500 meter pathway, that is surrounded by  verdant clove plantations on the right and left side and starts at very sleepy Dusun Kuning Village.

The pool at Dusun Kuning Waterfall is unsuitable for bathing and swimming as it is small and the water flow is too strong. This act of god is impressive at it shows its full natural force but if you want to splash around, swim or sunbath at a river, this is clearly the wrong place to go.

On the other hand, there is a forest pretty close, that is populated by thousands of wild monkeys (macaques), just around the corner and it’s easy to reach. If you can’t organize a trip to see the most popular monkey places in Bali (Uluwatu Temple in the Bukit – Jimbaran Cliff and the Monkey Forest in Ubud), Dusun Kuning waterfalls offers a nice alternative to see the falls and monkeys on the same day.
