For Balinese man, they simply wear a cloth named ‘Safari’ or ‘Koko’. Nowadays, they prefer to wear ‘Koko’ because this cloth is lighter than ‘Safari’. However, ‘safari’ still becomes their alternative to express their dignity and prestige from their outfit. Those outfit always appears with white color. They also wear ‘kamen’ in typical batik or songket. Balinese male has different technique in wearing their ‘kamen’. It makes a fashion distinction between man and woman in Bali. They also add a cloth named ‘saput’ to cover half of their ‘kamen’. You must be familiar with traditional headband named ‘udeng’. Yes, this headband is very iconic in representing Balinese man.
